When I first started blogging, there was a lot that I didn’t know and I spent countless hours searching the web and watching Youtube videos to find the answers. But I want to make your goal of starting a blog a little easier. Here are the resources I used to get my site off the ground. I have personally used everything resource mentioned and highly recommend them.

SITE GROUND: Site Ground is the hosting company of Incourage Foods. I’ve been using Site Gound from the beginning. If you’re looking for a company to host your website, Site Ground is an easy way to get your website up and running, especially if you’re choosing to use Wordpress. Site Ground is incredibly affordable and is the perfect place to start. For more information, check out their website by clicking the picture below.
WORDPRESS: WordPress is the platform I use to run my site. There are many you can choose from but I highly recommend WordPress because it comes with so many free plugins and resources. Even if you’re not tech savvy, you will still find using WordPress easy to use because all you have to do is choose from one of their free themes to get started! I built my site on my own, so if I can do it, so can you!
TAILWIND: Tailwind is an all in one tool for social media, specifically Instagram and Pinterest. I love using Tailwind to schedule pins on Pinterest. It’s so easy to schedule pins for the entire week and not worry about pinning for the rest of the week. Tailwind saves me so much time and energy and helps to easily drive traffic to my site. I’ve been using Tailwind since starting my blog and truly find it to be worth the investment. If you want to drive traffic to your blog using Pinterest, Tailwind is what you need!
CAMERA: I love using my Canon T6 Rebel. I bought this camera a few months before actually starting the blog and I’ve been using it ever since. It’s a sturdy camera that comes with two lenses. I love the option of two lenses although I primarily use the 18-55mm lens. The 18-55 lens is capable of zooming in for close up shots and also zooming out for more of a flat lay style. It’s also simple to use. I recommend this camera if you are looking for an affordable beginner camera.
PHOTOGRAPHY EQUIPMENT: Because I like to keep things simple, my photography equipment only includes a sturdy tripod, phone adapter, and marble laminate contact paper for using as my photography background. The tripod is great at helping me get the perfect close up shots and also is needed for recording video. The phone adapter comes in handy for recording videos and take pictures on my iPhone. My best piece of advice is to start with the basics and don’t spend all your money on buying every accessory. Start with the basics, you’ll have time for the fancy stuff later.
BLOGGING/BUSINESS PROGRAMS: When I first started my business, I went through a program with a group of amazing women. This program promised to help bring me the dreamiest of clients so I could support my family financially. And you know what? This program did just that. After going through the program I made lasting connections that have turned into partnerships, I have only the best of clients, and I know without a shadow of a doubt what sets me a part from everyone else. The program is called THE DREAMY CLIENT MAGNET!!!
